It's Alive!

And now, for the moment you've all been waiting for. Did the brew session bear fruit? Is beer being made? Did he drink too much homebrew during the brew and screw up the process? Yes, yes, and no! Houston, we have lift-off! Check out the video for an airlock replete with bubbling CO2 gas. Which means alcohol generation! Yeah baby...we're making beer!

Happy Airlock

Great video! There's chemistry, biology, and so many great examples of science here! Did you know that Emperor Penguins have countercurrent blood flow in their feet?? That's why they don't freeze! I'm thinking a semester long project, a lab with 15 Kegerators and a super tasty final exam! Can't wait to hear the results!!

You must give me the name of your college! So, we hook up a dozen or so penguins with quick connect fittings attached to their stationary (how to do that?) feet and we can skip the swimming pool scenario and I won't have to water those darn plants? Can you get some penguins? We have alligators. Will they work?
