The Great Beer Experiment
What do these objects have in common - a homebrew and...what's that in the little bottle? Hmmmm...seems as though Professor Beaneaux was in Lake Charles this weekend. What could possibly be in the works? Care to take a guess?
There is a method to this madness. Stay tuned for more...
This appears to be a marriage made in heaven -- you will have less flatulence (do they do that in heaven??) as the Beano will break down the complex carbs that those wonderful albeit primitive yeasties can't metabolize. AND...(drum roll) you are REDUCING your carbohydrate intake AND...(HUGE drum roll!) you are INCREASING the content of alcohol!!! Taste may be altered a tad. Watch those final gravity readings or you will have exploding brew bottles. In my unbiased opinion, I think you're a GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are both brilliant. Indeed, I am making some lighter beer. I will be using another secret ingreient to replace the mouthfeel that the beaneaux will remove from the beer. I'll have some calculations to perform based upon gravity differences, which I will be glad to share with you. How exciting! Stay tuned for Sunday's developments.

Wow. You're making a light beer using Beano? Is that true?
