Alas, I have been a blog slacker and not paying attention to your posts. The link, you dummy, where is the link?! Here it is; mea culpa, mea culpa. Thanks for taking the time to read my material.
As an added bonus, for your patience, here is yet another article mentioning Garrett Oliver. He is quite the quoted brewmaster these days.

Yay! He's back. Interesting article - I never knew Blue Moon was mass produced by Coors. I was duped! I went to a party once at the Brooklyn Brewery with ole cousin Ralph. Good times!
Holy Moley it took long enough, but this quote made the wait totally worth while: "Americans want real beer, and they're willing to step up and grab it." Makes ya feel like a REAL American huh! Get the flag and salute with a home brew~~!
Yes indeed, you must read the underside of the beer carton to see who is making (or controlling the making of) the stuff you drink.
I had a pretty good wheat beer the other day and found out the brewery that made it was purchased by Budweiser. It was a pretty tasty brew, I must say.
Btw - if you really like a Blue Moon style of beer, a Belgian white ale, try the original - Hoegaarden - from the Hoegaarden Brewery founded in 1966 by Pierre Celis in Hoegaarden. It has been owned by InBev since 1987. InBev is huge; they are trying to buy Anheuser-Busch for $46.3 billion. The attempted takeover appears to be getting hostile – see the attached link. Being a part of InBev (which is actually headquartered in Belgium) hasn't affected the distinct style and taste of Hoegaarden, it's just made the same way under a different owner. So being bought by a bigger company is not always bad, but I'm always wary about quality degradation with the ultimate push for larger distribution.
